No win no fee injury claims

A 'no win no fee' agreement is what lawyers call a 'conditional fee agreement' or (also called a CFA). Under a CFA the client usually only has to pay his or her legal fees if he wins his case.

In personal injury law, the losing side pays the winner's costs. This means that even though the client is liable for his costs only if he wins, it is the losing party who will actually pay them alongside his compensation.

Under a CFA the client will not have to pay his solicitor's costs if he loses, but he still remains liable for costs such as medical expert reports. At Mary Monson Solicitors, we accept responsibility for these costs on your behalf if you lose your claim.

If you lose your claim, you are also liable for the legal costs of the other side, but we will insure you against paying these fees at no cost to yourself.
